Allocation of Work and Transfer between Teams

"Our Support to Children and Families: Service Offer and Transfer Protocol" includes guidance for early help and social work professionals and their partners from other agencies on how Birmingham Children's Trust supports each child and their family through Children's Services. Specifically, the document clarifies how the support to each child and family with additional and/or complex/significant needs (as defined in the Right Help, Right Time framework) is progressed.

This document should not be seen as a rigid policy, but as a guiding framework for the successful transfer of work within the Children's Trust.
